Compensation:

Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Healthcare Services Coordinator II will:

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, including add-ons.
  • Handle incoming calls and route them appropriately.
  • Input demographic and insurance information into the IDX system.
  • Obtain necessary insurance authorizations and referrals.
  • Coordinate surgical case scheduling.
  • Check in and out patients, including collecting copays.
  • Communicate with patients for follow-up as needed.
  • Collaborate with external staff to coordinate patient care at satellite locations.
  • Perform additional clerical duties related to patient care documentation.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with two years of office or clerical experience in customer service, call centers, physician offices, or similar clinical environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and leadership abilities, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.


Requirements:
  • Completion of all required training courses as assigned by management.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and advanced proficiency in PC applications, software, and database management.
  • Ability to perform basic math and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Exceptional telephone and customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of English grammar and punctuation.

Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) is preferred. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
