Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Progressive Care Coordinator to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing the day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling of personnel in the department.
  • Manage and fulfill day-to-day operations, including overseeing orientation of new staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategic plans for improving patient care services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to staff members as needed.
  • Serve as a professional role model and demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or a compact state.
  • BCLS certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include one year of management experience, ACLS certification, and national certification.
