Job Overview

The Regional Sales Representative (RSR) is a pivotal role designed to cultivate candidates for future advancement to the District Sales Manager (DSM) position. This role primarily focuses on delivering sales assistance to both new and existing clientele to meet sales targets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Strategy Development: Engage in regular communication with the DSM and Regional Sales Director (RSD) to identify and implement tailored sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue growth for designated accounts.
  • Sales Achievement: Work closely with the DSM to meet sales quotas through effective territory management and account engagement, driving sales and expanding the customer base for the company’s offerings.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Develop and refine consultative selling techniques through mentorship from the DSM and RSD.
  • Integration Efforts: Collaborate with DSM and Field Integration Specialists (FIS) to ensure seamless integration of practices within accounts.
  • Clinical Communication: Regularly share clinical insights and reinforce product effectiveness to support account success.
  • Training Coordination: Assist in organizing customer training sessions and procedural support in conjunction with the clinical training and sales teams.
  • Market Insights: Provide valuable feedback on market trends and opportunities through active participation in team discussions.
  • Event Support: Aid in the execution of regional training workshops and trade shows.
  • Account Management: Maintain open lines of communication with DSM and RSD regarding account matters and accurate forecasting.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete necessary administrative tasks, including business plans and expense reports, while managing daily sales activities efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously enhance knowledge of the company’s products and industry trends to effectively educate clients.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and networking opportunities.
  • Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in a collaborative sales environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of relevant experience in direct sales or market development.
  • Familiarity with the anesthesiology or related medical fields.
  • Experience with selling consumables and innovative products.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
