Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse (RN) will uphold the mission of NSMC by creating a comforting, safe, and healing environment for patients and their families.

The RN must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for their patients. The RN may rotate to other areas beyond their normally assigned service area/s.

Those departments and service areas may require specialized skills, and the RN will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age-appropriate and considers the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient.

The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with their scope of practice and operates within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at NSMC.

The RN must have the ability to foster a positive work environment, maintain professionalism, and display positive support for NSMC as well as the entire HealthONE organization.

The RN cares for patients ranging in age from adolescents to geriatrics.

Position Requirements:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- One to two years of acute care/specialty nursing experience is desirable.
