RV Sales Consultant

The RV Sales Consultant is essential in assisting clients in selecting and purchasing recreational vehicles that meet their individual requirements and desires. This role involves understanding customer preferences, presenting RV features, negotiating terms, and completing sales transactions. The ideal candidate should have outstanding communication abilities, a robust sales background, and a genuine passion for the RV lifestyle.

Compensation:
Commission-Based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and assess their needs, guiding them through the RV purchasing journey
  • Offer comprehensive information and demonstrations of various RV models and their features
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, provide exceptional service, and offer post-sale assistance
  • Assist clients with financing options and manage sales transaction documentation
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting sales objectives
  • Stay informed about RV models, industry developments, and competitor offerings
  • Keep the showroom and lot clean and organized
  • Engage in sales meetings and training sessions to remain updated on products and promotions
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to the sales manager

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or marketing is advantageous
  • Demonstrated sales experience, ideally in the RV or automotive sector
  • Strong understanding of RVs and their features, or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Self-driven, independent worker with a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in computer systems and sales software
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in RV sales or a related field
  • Knowledge of RV financing and insurance options
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
