KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with members visiting the credit union, addressing their inquiries and providing assistance.
  • Promote and sell products and services face-to-face.
  • Establish, maintain, and close various financial savings accounts within set guidelines.
  • Issue debit and pre-paid cards while actively promoting UniWyo’s offerings.
  • Ensure adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to business development by being knowledgeable about all products and services, including their rates and terms.

In addition, you will:

  • Process a variety of member transactions, including deposits, loan payments, and withdrawals.
  • Balance your assigned teller drawer daily and assist in maintaining the security of cash and member information.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and refer them to the sales team.
  • Respond to member requests, concerns, and complaints regarding their accounts promptly and accurately.
  • Compile and route information to appropriate departments, maintaining organized records.
  • Assist in training new service representatives and recommend policy changes as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with credit union regulations and policies.
  • Understanding of customer service principles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands effectively.
  • Proficiency in using various software applications and operating systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or GED, along with one year of relevant experience in accounting, banking, or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outside traditional hours as needed.
