- Restock displays, rotate products, and maintain inventory levels to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked bakery department.
- Monitor product quality, check expiration dates, and take action to prevent waste and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive work environment, and support the overall success of the bakery department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Food safety certification and ability to obtain a food handlers permit.
