Position Overview:

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of food and beverage offerings in both catered and concession settings. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Consistent attendance and availability to work events as needed are essential.

Compensation:

This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $13.00 to $16.00.

Benefits for Part-Time Roles:

  • 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.
  • Accrual of paid leave at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

Venue Information:

The venue, formerly known as the Casper Events Center, has been rebranded and serves as a multi-purpose facility. It features a spacious seating arrangement and hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sports competitions, family shows, trade exhibitions, and community gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and serve food and beverage orders from concession stands and kitchens.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, operate cash registers, and maintain financial records.
  • During catered events, serve meals while ensuring proper portion control and food presentation.
  • Transport and stock food service inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and setup for events.
  • Store food safely and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patrons regarding policies and event information.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any incidents to supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in cash handling.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Self-motivated while also being a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred: TIPS or Alcohol Server Training.
