Class Summary

As a Front Desk Attendant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service at our recreational facility. You will be responsible for managing point-of-sale transactions, assisting with class registrations, and providing information about memberships and passes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, offering information in person, online, or via phone regarding the facility's services and operations.

2. Ensure the safety and compliance of participants by overseeing activities and providing guidance on facility policies.

3. Open and close the facility as needed, conducting participant counts and ensuring a welcoming environment.

4. Assist with clerical tasks, including recordkeeping and basic administrative duties.

5. Prepare and serve food items, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

6. Manage inventory and stock supplies efficiently.

7. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, performing routine cleaning tasks.

8. Represent the City of Casper with professionalism, responding to inquiries and maintaining a positive customer service demeanor.

9. Perform additional duties as required to support the facility's operations.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and recordkeeping.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Must be at least 16 years of age, with preference for candidates 18 and older.

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends and holidays. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction while adhering to all operational procedures.
