- Lead a culinary team, including hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews, to ensure seamless food service operations.
- Establish and maintain a culinary budget, including menu costing, inventory tracking, and invoice processing.
- Implement food safety protocols, including labeling, dating, rotating, and screening products.
- Develop relationships with quality vendors to procure seasonal, local, and sustainable ingredients.
- Maintain immaculate standards of the work area, both front and back of house.
- Knowledge of nutrition needs and demands of athletes.
- Collaboration with the performance nutrition department to advise on culinary methods and techniques.
- Understanding of individualized needs, allergies, body composition, periodization, portions, and specialized diets.
- Adaptability to player and coach needs and requests with a service-minded approach.
- Ability to educate players, coaches, and staff on culinary performance methods and techniques.
