Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating a passion for wine sales
  • Building and maintaining relationships with long-term customers and suppliers
  • Managing email and phone orders efficiently
  • Overseeing social media channels
  • Placing weekly orders and managing inventory
  • Assisting in wine purchasing decisions
  • Ensuring smooth operations
  • Conducting tastings and training sessions for staff
  • Organizing and promoting tastings and customer engagement activities
  • Planning and executing wine dinners, creating memorable experiences for guests
  • Pricing and stocking wine selections

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Proficient in social media, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Able to lift 40-45 lb cases of wine regularly
  • Experience in retail management
  • Knowledgeable about wines, vineyards, and sales techniques
  • Familiarity with Toast POS operating system is preferred
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
