This role is essential in managing the human resources functions and initiatives within the organization. The individual will engage in various HR activities, including talent acquisition, employee performance oversight, policy enforcement, employee relations, compliance with regulations, and facilitating training and development programs. HR Specialists also assist management in making informed decisions regarding personnel and are integral to the entire employment lifecycle. Additionally, they act as a primary resource for employees seeking guidance on HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new hires and coordinate training and development efforts.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries, including leave policies and compensation issues, and resolve any challenges that arise.
  • Support the performance management system and corrective action initiatives.
  • Enhance employee satisfaction by addressing concerns swiftly, applying company policies, and organizing team-building events.
  • Manage internal HR communications effectively.
  • Facilitate the annual benefits enrollment process.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records within HR information systems, applicant tracking systems, and other documentation repositories.
  • Collect and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain Affirmative Action Plans throughout the year.
  • Implement and uphold policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in Human Resources or have completed a relevant development program in HR.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, or Business Management.
  • Possession of a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Prior experience ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HR information systems and/or applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience in maintaining an Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Experience in data maintenance and analysis.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping systems.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
