- Lead and manage the development and deployment of biotherapeutic analytical automation systems.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including scientists, engineers, and IT specialists, to design and implement solutions.
- Ensure project completion within defined scope, timeline, and budget while adhering to quality standards.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards, analytical methodologies, and cutting-edge technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the team, addressing complex challenges.
- Stay informed on regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Work with vendors and external partners to assess, select, and implement new technologies.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors and oversee implementation phases.
- Create and update thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Regularly review and revise existing documentation to reflect technological changes or updates.
- A relevant educational background in fields such as Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the scientific industry is required.
- Hands-on experience with analytical automation systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with related analytical techniques and instruments in a laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, guidelines, and regulations pertaining to non-GXP and GXP processes.
- A proven track record of driving technology projects and fostering innovation.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, data management, and integration of automation systems with other laboratory software platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and present technical information in an accessible manner.
- Experience in project management, resource allocation, and budget oversight is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.
