Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Audience Engagement Architect to join our team, reporting directly to the CDP Delivery Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for developing solution architectures that ensure all recommendations are evaluated for time, cost, and compliance with client policies while fulfilling business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and present technical solutions encompassing data ingestion, transformation, and scheduling for client review and approval.
  • Analyze customer use cases and available data to prepare for automated and ongoing data ingestion to meet client needs.
  • Ensure alignment of requirements with Merkle policies and industry best practices.
  • Create solution design options based on client requirements and established standards, patterns, and procedures.
  • Architect data feeds and design platform configurations and components necessary for executing complex automated campaigns.
  • Complete comprehensive solution design documentation, contributing to the client's standard reference models.
  • Identify enhancements for the CDP, extending frameworks and integrating innovative ideas.
  • Develop workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading into the CDP.
  • Implement data transformation and ETL processes through custom development and automated solutions.
  • Facilitate data ingestion through tailored development to meet client specifications.
  • Architect and develop ongoing solutions for real-time customer data ingestion using streaming technology.
  • Design and implement automated batch ingestion solutions for AEP customers.
  • Deploy final solutions to production environments or client end-state environments.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to overall platform performance from data ingestion to distribution.
  • Enhance internal systems and services based on recurring client requests and evolving industry standards.
  • Post-deployment, provide ongoing maintenance and support for solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer to the designated team.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (including RT-CDP, AJO, CJA).
  • Experience in an agency or consulting environment across diverse industries.
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry shifts.
  • Proven experience in collaborating on complex deals and leading teams.
  • Demonstrated technical credibility through direct experience in leading and inspiring teams on key technologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with activation platforms and concepts (e.g., CMS, DAM, ad serving).
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
Essential Knowledge
  • Software development and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Platform architecture with a focus on data ingress and egress.
  • XDM & Mix-Ins for data modeling.
  • Relational database concepts with exposure to SQL.
  • Data management, segmentation, and ETL best practices.
  • Scripting and query development.
Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$157,500. Actual salary will be determined based on various factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
