Role Overview

As the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will have the opportunity to surpass assigned pipeline and profit targets, spearhead new business initiatives, and collaborate closely with Sales and the Leadership Team to develop comprehensive sales strategies within our service offerings.

Successful leaders in this role will have the potential for rapid advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and strategically target key customers to enhance sales and achieve overall sales objectives across all channels.
  • Generate and qualify leads to create additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  • Utilize data and sound reasoning to inform and optimize organizational decision-making, operational execution, and resource allocation.
  • Proficient in using tools such as GGuite, Slack, Zoom, Hubspot (CRM), and various sales and marketing products.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation, and successful conclusion for software consultation and development services within a designated territory.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify, qualify, and target potential clients, developing strategies to initiate contact.
  • Establish and maintain relationships at the 'C Suite' level while understanding and communicating the prospective customers' organizational culture.
  • Exercise creativity and sound judgment in developing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies for software consultation and development services.
  • Develop and lead strategic processes regarding competitive landscape, account sales strategy, and development strategy.
  • Identify customer needs and create tailored solutions.
  • Leverage resources across the organization to design and deliver desired outcomes for customers.
  • Influence and mentor team members without formal authority.
  • Build relationships with intermediaries to create a pipeline of opportunities and raise awareness of capabilities.
  • Represent Exquisite Software at various industry organizations and events.
  • Foster personal relationships with prospective customers.
  • Provide relevant market and competitive insights.
  • Manage and develop a business development team.
  • Create documentation and processes for the business development team.
  • Ensure the business development team meets established goals.
Qualifications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Operations teams to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, margins, and ROI to close deals.
  • Experience in establishing sales territories and networks of independent sales.
  • Industry knowledge required, particularly in companies that develop devices, technology firms, or those that utilize software regularly.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Proficient in prospecting and cold calling, with experience in a startup environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales or sales management experience in a B2B sales environment.
