About the Role

HonorHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Clinical Officer to lead our Care Management Department. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative care management programs that ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across our continuum of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Care Management Programs: Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of efficient and effective care management programs that span the continuum of care, utilizing care management principles of care coordination, transition planning, utilization, and disease management.
  • Lead the UM/PA Team: Manage the Utilization Management/Prior Authorization team, including quality improvement programs, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimal coordination of care.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Foster collaborative partnerships within the inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as with external relationships, to optimize the coordination of care provided to patients.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Metrics: Participate in the development and implementation of strategic metrics, monitoring protocols, and short- and long-range utilization goals to achieve clinical and financial outcome measures.
  • Lead and Develop Care Management Personnel: Hire, direct, manage, mentor, and evaluate Care Management personnel to ensure consistent monitoring and implementation of staff competencies and budget impact.
  • Develop and Maintain Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain Care Management programs, policies, space utilization, annual capital and operational budgets for the department.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration/Management, MPH, or related field, or completion of a PA Program.
  • Experience: 3 years managing a Care Management Department.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Nursing RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure, Nursing RNPA - Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant (Valid/Current) - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure.
