Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Recruiter collaborates closely with HR Business Partners and leadership to align workforce strategies with organizational needs. This role is pivotal in fostering strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike, developing effective recruitment strategies, and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns to fulfill staffing objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture robust partnerships with internal stakeholders while managing the complete recruitment lifecycle.
  • Utilize diverse sourcing channels to attract both active and passive candidates, employing technology to streamline processes.
  • Identify and implement innovative sourcing strategies tailored to specific job roles through thorough research and resource utilization.
  • Provide training to recruitment team members on new digital platforms and networking opportunities.
  • Consult with HR Business Partners to devise recruitment plans that align with workforce requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure a diverse and qualified applicant pool through strategic advertising and community engagement.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) in collaboration with various departments.
  • Manage the selection and validation of appropriate assessment tools, ensuring compliance with AAP guidelines.
  • Coordinate employment offers, ensuring adherence to policies and thorough documentation.
  • Facilitate the recruitment process for visa-sponsored candidates, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Analyze HR hiring metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions in partnership with HR Business Partners.
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of recruitment systems and policies.
  • Maintain the recruitment module within the talent management system and assist in the implementation of new features.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information at all times.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and share knowledge with team members.
  • Support the development and coordination of training programs to enhance management and staff capabilities.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Act as a resource for HR staff on complex employment inquiries.
  • Foster teamwork and communication to optimize HR processes.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in full life-cycle recruiting is required.
  • 5 years of experience in candidate sourcing is essential.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience in a high-volume recruitment setting is required.
  • Experience in scientific recruitment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with workforce segmentation and employment branding is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compensation practices is essential.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans is required.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization is essential.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
