Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with divisional and/or college leadership to strategize, plan, and formulate budgets and financial forecasts, both short- and long-term.
  • Liaise with departments such as human resources, risk management, and procurement to align financial goals and compliance standards.
  • Execute accounting transactions and financial reconciliation, as well as prepare financial reports to aid in the development of the university's budgeting process.
Requirements
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related master's degree preferred; will consider bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field with significant related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of systems and applications relevant to finance and budget management.
  • Ability to develop and maintain accurate reports of financial information, statements, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to read and interpret University policies and procedures.
  • Convey and present financial concepts to all audiences in ways they will understand.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and queries in a financial enterprise system.
