Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain robust accounting controls, processes, and procedures.
    • Play a key role in both long-term and short-term financial process and controls planning.
  • Accounting Management
    • Oversee all aspects of general accounting, cash application, and accounts payable.
    • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Provide people leadership and guidance to staff accountants.
    • Onboard, manage, and mentor staff on a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Support monthly and yearly balance sheet and P&L forecasts.
    • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Maintain accounting controls by monitoring, preparing, and recommending policies/procedures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of accounting and finance experience.
  • 4-Year business degree.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Experience in financial planning and reporting.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization.
