COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The County of Ventura provides a competitive salary range of approximately $70,887.19 to $99,251.82 annually. Employees in this role are also eligible for a general salary increase of 3.5%.

EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVES
Employees may receive an educational incentive of 2.5% for an associate degree, 3.5% for a bachelor's degree, or 5% for a master's degree.

ANNUAL LEAVE
Employees are entitled to 208 hours of annual leave per year, which increases to 288 hours after five years of service. There is also an option to redeem up to 100 hours of annual leave each year after using 80 hours in the previous twelve months.

HEALTH AND RETIREMENT PLANS
Full-time employees can choose from various medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Additionally, employees can participate in the County's 401(k) Shared Savings Plan with a potential 3% match on contributions.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Under general supervision, the Program Assistant is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of tasks to support program activities and management. This role requires a candidate with experience in project coordination and excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational skills, database proficiency, and report compilation experience are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage wellness program activity points for incentive program administration.
- Oversee the tracking of participation data and prepare reports as needed.
- Coordinate daily operations of wellness and work-life programs, including scheduling events.
- Develop communication materials to effectively market programs across various platforms.
- Respond to program inquiries and assist with event coordination.
- Maintain program schedules and databases, ensuring timely reminders to participants.
- Create and manage childcare resources and deliver presentations to educate on program services.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and abilities for wellness and work-life programs. A bachelor's degree in a related field or two years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience is preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Graphics Suite is required. Candidates should possess strong written and oral communication skills, graphic design capabilities, and the ability to maintain professional relationships with diverse groups. Adaptability and resourcefulness in improving operations are essential traits for success in this role.
