COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The County of Ventura provides a competitive salary range of approximately $70,887.19 to $99,251.82 annually. Employees in this role are eligible for a general salary increase of 3.5% and various educational incentives based on degree completion:

POSITION OVERVIEW
Under general supervision, the Program Assistant is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of tasks that support program activities and management. This role requires strong project coordination skills and excellent customer service abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in database management and report compilation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage wellness program activity points for incentive program administration.
- Coordinate daily operations of wellness and work-life programs, including scheduling and room reservations.
- Develop marketing materials for the program across various channels, including emails and flyers.
- Maintain communication with program participants and respond to inquiries.
- Support program events and activities, including preparation and execution.
- Compile information for year-end reports and maintain program schedules.
- Assist in the creation of childcare resources and deliver presentations to educate on program services.

EDUCATIONAL AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or two years of progressively responsible administrative experience. Special requirements include a valid California driver license and the ability to travel to various work sites.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Graphics Suite, public relations, marketing principles, and program management techniques is essential. Strong written and oral communication skills, graphic design capabilities, and the ability to maintain professional relationships with diverse groups are crucial for success in this role.
