About the Role:

The Strategic Account Director is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive media investment strategies for our clients. This involves collaborating with internal teams to optimize client budgets and drive business growth. As the primary point of contact for clients, the Account Director provides exceptional service, ensuring seamless communication and proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management: Foster and deepen existing client relationships to secure strategic positioning, retain revenue, and identify opportunities for growth.
  2. Business Development: Evaluate and pursue new partnerships in media services, clients, and related companies to drive business expansion.
  3. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the strategy and creative departments to establish business direction and drive growth.
  4. Service Offerings: Understand company capabilities and effectively communicate all offerings to clients.
  5. Account Management: Work closely with Junior Account Executives to manage client budgets, maximize Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), and drive account growth.
  6. Solution Creation: Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs, including solution creation, configuration management, and revenue/CRM solutions.
  7. Media Optimization: Implement new show tests, roll out, and ensure client and CRT goals are met while maintaining compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
  8. Media Buying: Work with Media Buyers to cancel, add, rebook, or title change media as needed, contributing to weekly meetings for campaigns.
  9. Market Analysis: Synthesize data, industry information, and competitive landscape to analyze results, identify trends, and determine marketing strategies for each campaign.
  10. Internal Collaboration: Liaise and coordinate with internal departments and outside partners to ensure timelines and goals are met.
  11. Operational Excellence: Ensure team-wide operational excellence, manage to gain consensus, and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus
  2. 8+ years experience in Direct Response campaign management, Media Buying, and/or Client Services
  3. Strong writing, project management, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality
  4. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  5. Possesses superior networking and negotiation skills
  6. Technical competence (understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.)
  7. Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  8. Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction
  9. Team Player and ability to lead a team. Positive attitude and enthusiasm for Client Service
