About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Director, Cultural Marketing to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. As a key member of our Strategy & Communications department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Present Strategic Plans: Create and present thoughtful and provocative strategies, creative briefs, brand ideas, and experience plans that drive business results.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Lead key strategic projects to fulfill client deliverables and execute exceptional programs that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Support Senior Leadership: Support the SVP, Strategy in day-to-day strategic marketing output and provide guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate Positioning: Responsible for leading the development of strategic programs and communicating our positioning to key clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-departmentally to develop breakthrough ideas and strategies for new business proposals and existing accounts.
  • Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought-leader internally within NVE and externally with clients, providing expertise and guidance on cultural marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Connection: Connect the full range of NVE's capabilities, from brand experience, communications, creator marketing, creative strategy, Cognition (interactive) and The Future Party, amongst others – for our brand partners.
  • Category and Competitive Knowledge: Maintain a deep knowledge of category and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop strategic talent internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8+ years' experience in marketing and brand solutions.
  • Experience includes brand management or strategy, advertising, content strategy, media, events, digital marketing, and/or PR.
  • Specific experience in developing and leading cultural marketing initiatives.
  • Specific experience in leading integrated programs and connecting the brand objectives through the line.
  • Creative problem-solving, and a doer/builder of decks and beautiful documents.
  • Ability to think creatively with evidence of success in developing brands and delivering them to market.
  • Strong communication skills, an imaginative writer, and enthusiastic presenter with proficiency in Keynote.
