Precision Medicine Program Director, West

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our U.S. Sales Team as a Precision Medicine Program Director, West. This key position will be responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic account targets that can benefit from our cutting-edge genomic data solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Account Identification: Identify near-term and long-term national and regional strategic account targets that will benefit from Tempus offerings.
- Business Solutions: Provide business solutions to hospital and laboratory professionals, leveraging our expertise in molecular diagnostics, genomics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and oncology.
- Contracting and Proposal Work: Lead and coordinate contracting and proposal work to ensure successful attainment of company goals and objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
- Competitive Landscape Analysis: Continually analyze the competitive landscape and environment within assigned accounts to determine trends and provide customer feedback to Tempus leadership.
- Product and Service Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Tempus's core product and service offerings, including our sequencing technology and MolDx/SaaS solutions.
- Company Culture Representation: Embody and represent the Tempus company culture at all times to external and internal constituents.
- Domain Expertise: Deep domain knowledge of the Diagnostic Services industry, with molecular diagnostic experience strongly preferred.
- Healthcare Expertise: Expertise in healthcare with emphasis on molecular diagnostics, genomics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and oncology.
- Sales Experience: Experience selling oncology-based tests and services into the oncology and/or pathology clinical communities preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to prioritize and align organizational goals and objectives; enable innovation and drive business growth.
- Communication Skills: Advanced written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage in consultative selling and provide integrated solutions to clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Travel Requirements: Frequent travel (~50%) throughout the territory as needed.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a Science or Business discipline; Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or Healthcare certification) desired; 6+ years of related strategic account experience in the diagnostic industry.
