We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Finance Director to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's financial strategy and planning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and maintain the company's long-range financial plan, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions, including market sizing, pricing strategy, and competitive analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business planning and decision-making.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of financial analysts and planners to support the company's financial strategy.
- Bachelor's and/or MBA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, or other quantitative field.
- 3-5+ years post-MBA or 8+ years without an MBA of analytical experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity and/or a corporate development, strategy, or financial planning & analysis role at a leading technology company.
- Strong financial skill set and grasp of corporate finance fundamentals, including experience with forecasting and business plan analysis.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including building and maintaining financial models.
- Excellent ability to generate insights from scratch, including sourcing, transforming, analyzing, and presenting complex financial and operational data in a simple, easily understandable way.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills, particularly the ability to summarize analysis and present them concisely to a range of stakeholders, including executives.
- Experience working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
- A proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with business partners.
- A self-starter who is an enthusiastic team player.
- Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau and/or Power BI) is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $170,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including equity stock options, flexible vacation, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k), FSA, and more.
