Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with drivers and supervisors to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Coordinate the recovery and handling of freight at local airports.
  • Oversee the breakdown of freight upon its return to the office.
  • Ensure that drivers meet customer pickup and delivery expectations.
  • Assist in preparing packaging materials and cold chain supplies as required by clients.
  • Maintain the cold chain for all shipments arriving at airports and those held at the office awaiting instructions.
  • Monitor clearance statuses and provide updates to Customer Service and origin offices.
  • Ensure timely recovery of freight while adhering to special delivery and pickup instructions.
  • Comply with all Company and Regulatory policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage personal and group email accounts efficiently.
  • Track and update the Outbound Flight Monitor.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Cold Chain Management, including packaging preparation and refurbishment.
  • Support Leadership Team Members in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure timely completion of qualifications.
  • Report any complaints or issues to management promptly.
  • Be available for overtime as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two to three years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift packages weighing up to 75 lbs safely.
  • Professional demeanor and flexibility in scheduling.
  • Capability to multitask effectively.

Work Environment:

The work environment may include both office and warehouse settings, depending on daily requirements. Temporary entry into refrigeration and freezer units may be necessary, with thermal apparel provided. Additionally, you may need to work inside a truck during loading and unloading operations.
