Role Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute performance metrics, project status updates, and dashboards. Facilitate regular review sessions with senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to audit standards, including SOX compliance and operational controls.
  • Define and secure approval for project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Formulate contingency plans and risk management strategies while maintaining issue logs.
  • Act as a liaison with other functional and technical teams to ensure project alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for business purposes.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively and build strong relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI/PMP and Scrum Master certifications.
  • Experience with logistics and transportation applications.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing project tasks and user stories.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of logistical tools such as Descartes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in the hazardous waste industry is a plus.
