Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing a range of warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, inventory control, and material handling. This role requires effective collaboration and communication with warehouse staff, logistics personnel, customer service teams, and external partners involved in the shipping and receiving processes. The associate will maintain accurate logs by monitoring and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily warehouse operations to support clinical and commercial manufacturing needs efficiently.
  • Facilitate the transfer of equipment between warehouses and campus locations.
  • Oversee the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Monitor, trace, and report on the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace is maintained at all times.
  • Efficiently unload trucks and deliveries as they arrive.
  • Sort and stock incoming goods appropriately.
  • Utilize scanning technology to manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, couriers, and customs agents to ensure smooth shipping processes.
  • Communicate essential information with internal and external stakeholders as necessary, ensuring timelines are met to avoid delays.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and Good Import/Export Practices in all tasks.
  • Support the efficient operation of the warehouse team.
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of the company's quality policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with leadership, team members, and other departments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in warehouse operations, logistics, retail, or customer service.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, email, and SAP or any ERP system.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
