Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Housing and Residence Life team as a Management Intern. As a Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in housing and residence life management, while working closely with our student staff and faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Co-supervise student assistants in the housing office, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our residential facilities.
  • Manage mail and package operations, ensuring that all packages and mail are delivered to the correct residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Audit and report on area vacancies, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance our residential facilities.
  • Conduct safety inspections of residential units, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of safety and security.
  • Recruit summer and fall student staff, identifying and selecting highly motivated and qualified individuals to join our team.
  • Assist in the recruitment of Resident Assistants and graduate ACUHO- housing program interns, working closely with our faculty and staff to identify and select the best candidates for these roles.
  • Assist the Director with special research projects related to operations and business development, providing support and analysis to inform our decision-making.
