Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple microelectronic development projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and communication skills, and a background in (or exposure to) some aspect(s) of microelectronics including telecommunications, AI computing, semiconductors, photonics, and IoT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, for a variety of microelectronics development projects.
    • Manage the oversight and reporting of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, payment milestones, technical deliverables and demonstrations, and quality standards.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, administrators (e.g. legal and finance), and senior management.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
    • Synthesize and present project requirements or outcomes to internal and external audiences such as stakeholders or sponsor agencies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track project progress and performance.
    • Generate regular status reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within projects, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, management, or similar area of study.
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of demonstrated project management experience.
    • Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ideally within the microelectronics industry.
  • Skills
    • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
