Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple microelectronic development projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and communication skills, prior experience managing other project managers, and a background in (or exposure to) some aspect(s) of microelectronics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, for a variety of microelectronics development projects.
- Manage the oversight and reporting of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, payment milestones, technical deliverables and demonstrations, and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Lead a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement project management processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across the organization and streamline reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, administrators, and senior management.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track project progress and performance.
- Generate regular status reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, management, or similar area of study.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- 7+ years of demonstrated project management experience, including oversight for other project managers.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ideally within the microelectronics industry.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Able to relate well to a broad base of stakeholders across industry, academia, and government in an open constructive manner that inspires collaboration and engenders mutual trust.
- A positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
