HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is a unique opportunity to oversee HR for our DC office, managing a broad range of responsibilities including onboarding, employee relations, mobility, leaves, and performance management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in legal environments supporting attorneys, whether as an HR generalist/manager or as a specialist in another area of HR. They will work in partnership with a small HR team and peers in professional development, recruiting, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies
- Oversee mobility and leaves programs
- Lead performance management initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience in HR, preferably in a legal environment
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
