Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation systems of varying complexity.
  • Oversee all automation aspects for designated projects.
  • Customize programming and configuration for a range of products, including specialized equipment.
  • Develop and validate new feature requirements for next-generation solutions.
  • Address complex automation design challenges through programming, sequencing, and electrical signaling.
  • Troubleshoot and test advanced PLC programming and motion control systems.
  • Provide mentorship on standards and best practices to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Apply existing technologies creatively to new applications.
Qualifications:
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • Onsite work is required, with occasional weekend commitments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Proficient in Delta V, Foxboro, Wonderware, Rockwell, RSLogix5000, FactoryTalk View, and related platforms.
  • Experience with Siemens Simatic APT is advantageous; training available for candidates with Rockwell PLC knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific field is required.
  • Experience with Emerson Syncade and Delta V software is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and validation processes is essential.
  • Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 5 guidelines.
  • Experience in recipe configuration and integration testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environments.
  • Technical expertise in automated manufacturing, assembly, and packaging systems.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Experience in adapting to high levels of challenge and change.
