Your Impact
As part of our innovative engineering team, you will facilitate the swift delivery of medicines worldwide by envisioning possibilities and taking decisive actions.

Key Responsibilities
In your role with Penn Foster Inc, you will:

  • Support manufacturing information systems to enhance production success rates and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Integrate operational knowledge, equipment control, and data into systems that streamline processes across various departments.
  • Contribute to project completion, manage your time effectively, and develop plans for your projects while leading small teams.
  • Oversee routine and preventive maintenance to guarantee that all equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
  • Generate and refine standard operating procedures and system support documentation.
  • Analyze operational challenges and propose suitable corrective and preventive measures.
  • Engage in change control processes and provide support for automation systems around the clock.
  • Mentor junior staff and serve as a technical trainer when necessary.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with no prior experience.
  • Experience in programming industrial control systems, including Recipe development, Batch, PLCs, SCADA systems, and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations and standards related to automation.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Work Environment
This position may require weekend and off-hours work, including on-call coverage to support continuous operations. Adherence to safe work practices is essential.
