Your Impact
As part of Penn Foster Inc.'s innovative engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing manufacturing information systems. Your efforts will enhance manufacturing success rates and help maintain operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on project completion and manage your time effectively to meet targets.
- Develop plans for your projects and lead small teams.
- Oversee the periodic review and validation master plan for the automation engineering program.
- Ensure routine and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities for safe and efficient operation.
- Create and refine standard operating procedures and system support.
- Analyze operational challenges and propose corrective and preventive measures.
- Manage change control processes and participate in cybersecurity alignment initiatives.
- Provide continuous support for automation systems and engage in automation activities for various projects.
- Modify complex control logic, leveraging your scientific and manufacturing process knowledge.
- Mentor junior staff and serve as a technical trainer when necessary.
- Communicate progress and challenges clearly to your peers.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with no prior experience.
- Proficiency in programming industrial control systems, including Recipe development, Batch, PLCs, SCADA systems, and SQL Server.
- Experience in writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents.
- Familiarity with Automation Compliance projects and process controls equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Computerized Systems and compliance regulations.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and training skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and changes.

Work Environment
This position may require weekend and off-hours work, including on-call coverage to support 24/7 operations. Adherence to safe work practices is essential.
