Lead Project Controls Specialist - Data Center Development

We are in search of a Lead Project Controls Specialist to supervise construction initiatives for essential facilities. This position entails overseeing project teams that focus on cost management, forecasting, change management, scheduling, reporting, and earned value management for various data center developments. The successful candidate will guide project teams and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to manage daily operations affecting project execution.
  • Maintain precise and well-organized documentation.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to collect feedback and generate reports.
  • Evaluate project control performance and enhance processes.
  • Apply lessons learned from past projects to foster future success.
  • Educate team members on project control protocols and ensure adherence.
  • Provide updates to senior management regarding project control activities.
  • Assess financial elements of contracts to safeguard company interests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls within data center construction.
  • Relevant degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Prior experience with AIA billings and documentation.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
