Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated technician to assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our building automation systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and a commitment to quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial instrumentation used for monitoring and controlling HVAC systems.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections and diagnose potential issues with metering control instruments.
  • Lay out and install new metering and control devices, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings related to installations and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of work performed.
  • Troubleshoot complex telemetry and control system issues, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Implement and document changes to software and hardware systems.
  • Provide programming support for PLC and logic controllers, including diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Serve as a technical resource for less experienced technicians.

Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, including PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with safe operation of hand and power tools, as well as electronic testing equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster effective working relationships.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations relevant to the role.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess an associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A valid driver's license is required. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Additional Information
This position may require participation in a rotating on-call schedule and the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
