Job Overview

We are seeking a Project Management Specialist to enhance our project team. This role is essential within the Project Management Office (PMO), where you will be allocated to various departments based on organizational needs. You will report directly to the PMO.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of project estimates for enhancements or development initiatives across analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Support the Project Manager in prioritizing project tasks and tracking progress.
  • Manage ticketing processes, ensuring the reconciliation of Requirement and BPA tickets with testing tickets.
  • Identify and facilitate the resolution of issues and risks, escalating as necessary.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all tasks outlined in the project plan.
  • Capture and report essential project metrics for stakeholder review.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to analysis, development, and testing activities.
  • Monitor project milestones and phases to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Recommend corrective actions if project timelines are at risk.
  • Prepare periodic project status reports for the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate work efforts across multiple application teams.
  • Assist in the final project evaluation and review with stakeholders for approval upon completion.
  • Organize stakeholder meetings and coordinate with clients to ensure effective communication.
  • Notify team leads regarding project timelines and milestones.
  • Engage with users and clients as necessary to facilitate project objectives.
  • Analyze and compile project metrics to inform improvement measures.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes and activities.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse resources across various IT functions.
  • Proficient in managing meetings with both local and remote participants.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude when working with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
  • Experience in Agile/Iterative environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is a plus.
  • Experience with formal project management methodologies or PMO practices is beneficial.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
