Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at National Insurance Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and sales, with a proven track record of success in cross-selling and servicing existing accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and creating client needs for products and services, cross-selling and/or hand-off to sales of products associated with the Retirement Income Division of the Company, and maintaining and updating all systems databases and customer files per company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and create client needs for products and services
  • Cross-sell and/or hand-off to sales of products associated with the Retirement Income Division of the Company
  • Maintain and update all systems databases and customer files per company guidelines
  • Keep the Acct. Rep Manager, Wisconsin Regional VP, and/or Sales Representative(s) fully informed of the status of all projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the group insurance industry
  • Two years experience in a customer service environment or any combination of education and/or experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Group insurance experience desired. Human Resource experience is a plus
  • Life Health Insurance state license desired. If not licensed, employee will be required to obtain license within 60 days of initial employment
  • Ability to travel 50-60% of the time and accommodation of overnight stays multiple times per month
  • Ability to attend conferences and associated networking events
  • Excellent organizational skills
