Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Sales Manager I-Business Development to join our team at First Citizens Bank. This role will be responsible for managing sales efforts and associates in a branch location, overseeing branch operations, and engaging in outbound calling activities to generate new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuring operational soundness and executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer and meet the financial expectations of the bank.
  • Achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to specific metrics and goals assigned, aligning with the needs of the community and supporting the organizational commitment to diverse lending.
  • Engage with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach, representing the Bank in the community by attending and participating in civic and community events to generate additional business and identify potential CRA opportunities.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues, initiating conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities and taking prompt actions to address immediate needs.
  • Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions, and financial exposures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Sales, customer service, or lending, or financial services sales, including supervisory, or High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Sales, customer service, or lending, or financial services sales, including supervisory.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
  • Required Skill(s): Application of a structured sales process, Providing financial guidance and expertise, Financial literacy, Financial analysis, Knowledge of retail banking products and services, Business development, Networking and building centers of influence.
Preferred Qualifications

Large financial institution, business development, treasury management, merchant services.
