Job Description

Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our restaurant meets the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service, including responding to guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food and Beverage Quality: Ensure that our food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality and freshness.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff, including hiring, evaluating, and developing their skills and abilities.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the restaurant complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality and restaurant management certification or college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three to five years of experience in a management role in a fine dining or similar volume, full-service chain or corporate environment preferred.
  • Skills: Strong supervisory and leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
