Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting our high standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and expenses to ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently and profitably.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Food and Beverage Operations
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure that they meet our high standards.
    • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and quality to ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently and profitably.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Manage the restaurant's administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the restaurant is operating in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
    • Three to five years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fine dining or similar volume, full-service chain or corporate environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
    • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move quickly around the restaurant.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, twist, and reach to perform normal job functions.

    • Salary range: $72,000-$76,000/year.
