Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers and receiving feedback.
- Management and Attention to Detail: Manage and elevate Back of the House standards, controlling food costs and improving food quality on a daily basis.
- Leadership: Lead the Back of the House team by rallying them during heavy shifts, resolving conflicts, and achieving goals.
- Organization: Maintain organized work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules, and other essential tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Develop solutions quickly when dealing with issues such as employee conflicts, irate customers, and inventory discrepancies.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, provide clear instructions, and engage with customers.
- Stamina: Work long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat and physical demands.
- Inventory Management: Excel in inventory management, including ordering supplies, food, and ingredients based on shifting demand.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in all stations based on needs and maintain a productive team working under an efficient schedule that meets labor budget.
- Equipment Maintenance: Obtain skills and knowledge for all equipment maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances.
- Menu Management: Assist the Restaurant Manager with menu changes and adjustments based on seasonal availability.
- Quality Control: Perform daily quality checks and maintain high standards in the store.
Requirements:
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per workday.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Comply with, coach, and model a professional and clean Kizuki dress code.
- Maintain MAST Certification, Food Handlers Permit, and Alcohol Serving Permit.
- Develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
- Knowledge of and ability to use a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to lead and promote growth.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales-focused environment.
Work Experience:
- Three years progressively responsible restaurant experience and one year supervisor experience.
- Minimum High School or GED.
