Position Overview

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), a leader in Correctional Health Care, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support operations within our healthcare unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage correspondence efficiently and systematically.
  • Prepare and compile reports and documentation with precision.
  • Organize and maintain a filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate effectively, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Oversee the inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for the healthcare unit.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to improve operational efficiency.
  • Follow personnel policies to support the healthcare unit's functionality.
  • Participate in required training and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; adept at managing calendars and scheduling.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday.
