POSITION SUMMARY:

The Office Coordinator is responsible for performing various administrative tasks, maintaining medical records, and serving as a communication conduit within the healthcare unit as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Timely processing of correspondence.
  • Accurate compilation and preparation of reports and documents.
  • Systematic classification and filing of all office documents for easy retrieval.
  • Scheduling of meetings, appointments, and work assignments to meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Effective communication demonstrating respect, concern, and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Monitoring of supplies, equipment, and services necessary for the healthcare unit.
  • Continuous professional development to enhance operational efficiency and the organization's image.
  • Adherence to personnel policies to improve the healthcare unit's operations.
  • Participation in required training and meetings.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
