Position Overview:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping our market entry strategies. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will ensure that Censys is effectively positioned as a leader in the cybersecurity landscape. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the security domain, enabling swift credibility with both sales teams and clients as a subject matter authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate the distinct value proposition of our products, with a thorough understanding of target demographics and buyer profiles.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create and implement a streamlined product launch framework.
  • Generate engaging, high-quality product literature across multiple formats, including digital, print, and multimedia.
  • Work alongside content and demand generation teams to develop marketing strategies that achieve or surpass pipeline, bookings, and conversion goals.
  • Effectively coordinate and execute plans that span various functional areas, including product management, business development, and sales.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of sales enablement resources to equip the sales force with strategies and competitive insights that enhance productivity and conversion rates.
  • Engage with industry analysts from organizations such as Gartner and Forrester.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and document buyer personas, use cases, and common objections.
  • Regularly analyze win/loss data, close rates, and other critical funnel metrics to inform product marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing or a related field within a B2B SaaS environment, with a preference for candidates with cybersecurity experience.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, writing, and project management abilities.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong drive for success.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams, product management, media, and industry analysts.
  • Highly organized with outstanding communication and presentation skills; self-directed and proactive.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment that demands high levels of productivity, commitment, adaptability, communication, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Proficient in translating complex technical information into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including executive security leaders and technical practitioners.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
