Position Overview
A Community Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in managing the daily operations of a residential community, utilizing strong sales, customer service, and leadership abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

Management:
- Oversee the physical and financial well-being of the community.
- Facilitate all resident transitions including move-ins, move-outs, and renewals.
- Conduct inspections of vacant units to ensure they are ready for new tenants and perform move-out evaluations.
- Guide and inspire onsite staff to meet the community's operational objectives.
- Collaborate with regional and senior management teams.
- Address and resolve resident and employee concerns professionally.
- Attend legal proceedings as required.
- Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support management, residents, and property operations.

Leasing:
- Collaborate with leasing consultants and marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential residents.
- Engage with prospects via phone and online to convert inquiries into site visits.
- Welcome all visitors to the leasing office with professionalism and warmth.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of property features and local amenities.
- Utilize product knowledge to align with prospective residents' needs by effectively communicating benefits.
- Represent the organization with professionalism at all times.

Customer Service:
- Build and sustain professional relationships with both prospective and current residents.
- Process maintenance requests and ensure follow-up for resident satisfaction.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns in person and over the phone.
- Uphold tenant confidentiality and ensure compliance with local and federal housing regulations.

Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of applications, lease agreements, and related documentation.
- Manage the collection and processing of rental payments.
- Support the move-in and move-out processes effectively.
- Maintain organized property records.
- Assist with payroll processing as needed.
