Role Summary:

The Project Manager/QA will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of IT projects, ensuring that business objectives are met through effective vendor management and quality assurance practices. This position requires a strategic thinker who can provide operational support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering insights and recommendations to align IT initiatives with business priorities.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration across teams.
  • Provide expert consultation on IT procurement and contracting processes, helping to navigate complex vendor agreements.

Vendor Management:

  • Oversee vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with established standards and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with IT vendors to clarify business requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor vendor performance, conducting evaluations to assess service delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.

Strategic Development:

  • Work with key stakeholders to enhance vendor management processes and capabilities.
  • Research and recommend effective contract management tools to streamline operations and improve performance tracking.
  • Facilitate the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor success and drive continuous improvement.
