Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on both the interior and exterior of the property, including guest accommodations, conference areas, laundry facilities, lighting systems, HVAC, ventilation, water treatment systems, and swimming pools.
  • Perform inspections on all operational systems and components to guarantee they function efficiently and safely.
  • Uphold and communicate all company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Report any hazardous conditions, emergencies, or security concerns to management promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and clean maintenance workshop while ensuring the security of inventory.
  • Provide assistance to guests in a friendly and courteous manner, striving to exceed their expectations and enhance their experience.
  • Recognize and respond to customer needs to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the property grounds.
  • Support hotel security measures to reduce the risk of theft, crime, and other potential hazards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to accept guidance and priorities from management and follow through on assigned tasks reliably.
  • Highly motivated and energetic individual.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 80 pounds.
  • Experience working with machinery in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
