Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication skills? Do you have experience in project management and policy development? We are seeking a skilled Regional Project Manager to join our team at the State of Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including regional development officers, to identify project needs and develop solutions.
  • Analyze project feasibility and eligibility, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate contractual agreements and amendments with department and applicants.

Program and Technical Assistance:

  • Manage and coordinate an agency legislative funded project tracking system.
  • Assist program staff in reviewing statutes, rules, and policy, and recommending changes to regulations.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of departmental programs and policies to carry out the agency's mission.

Communications and Coordination:

  • Provide information for department and team success stories for communications purposes.
  • Assist in tracking agency and team performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance, or political science.
  • Four years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work experience.
  • Or any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience.
